What is this all about?

Habitat for Humanity Nova Scotia is challenging 25 men to raise $25,000 for the Drysdale Community Development to Man Up and build a house! This is the second year of the ManUp Challenge - the first was extremely successful and we're looking to make this an annual event.

These brave men will spend a day on one of our Halifax build-sites and put hammer to nail and literally help build a home for a deserving Nova Scotia family.

Each man will contribute $1,000. They can raise this money by requesting donations from friends, family, or colleagues, or just by writing a cheque!

So, are you going to Man Up and take the challenge?

In Support of Habitat for Humanity Nova Scotia
Since 1992, Habitat for Humanity Nova Scotia has partnered with families in the province to build safe, quality and affordable homes. We offer qualifying families in our program an affordable, no-down-payment mortgage with monthly payments that do not exceed 30 per cent of their monthly incomes. In return, they invest 500 hours in volunteer work, even helping to build their own homes. We also operate the Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Dartmouth, a building supply and home renovation store that accepts and resells new and gently-used building materials, furniture and home décor items. The ReStore helps covers Habitat for Humanity Nova Scotia’s operating costs. This ensures more of your donor dollars directly supports our mission to build more affordable homes.
