We are so excited to launch Habitat for Humanity Pictou County!This newly formed chapter will operate under the guidance of Habitat for Humanity Nova Scotia, and as such we are part of a network that helps families in 100 countries around the world, dedicating a new home about every 10 minutes.Our goal is to promote home ownership as a means of breaking the cycle of poverty. We are a non-profit, community-based organization, and we invite people of all backgrounds to join us to build quality, affordable homes in partnership with volunteers, sponsors, donors and partner famil...The mission of Habitat for Humanity Nova Scotia is to mobilize volunteers and community partners in building affordable housing for Nova Scotia families in need of a hand up to successful homeownership.
