A Syrian cultural night put on by Syrian newcomers to give back to the community.

Experience authentic Syrian culture and traditions in this unique show with a classic live action play, a singing performance, delicious Syrian food, and an exciting dance of swords and shields. Written and performed by Syrian newcomers and students, this event will provide you with the best and most authentic experience of Syrian culture!

In appreciation to the Canadian communities that have accepted and supported Syrian newcomers, we are raising money to donate to the Habitat for Humanity foundation, which will support their mission of providing affordable homes to low-income working families.

In Support of Habitat for Humanity Nova Scotia
Since 1992, Habitat for Humanity Nova Scotia has partnered with families in the province to build safe, quality and affordable homes. We offer qualifying families in our program an affordable, no-down-payment mortgage with monthly payments that do not exceed 30 per cent of their monthly incomes. In return, they invest 500 hours in volunteer work, even helping to build their own homes. We also operate the Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Dartmouth, a building supply and home renovation store that accepts and resells new and gently-used building materials, furniture and home décor items. The ReStore helps covers Habitat for Humanity Nova Scotia’s operating costs. This ensures more of your donor dollars directly supports our mission to build more affordable homes.
